Goals and Challenges
The main challenge was managing a complex production pipeline under time constraints. This included defining hardware setups, capturing high-quality 360 video, designing spatial audio, and ensuring the experience worked seamlessly within a headset-based installation.
My Role and Responsibilities
I led the creative direction and experience design, working directly with the client. My responsibilities included defining the storyboard and script, selecting and installing hardware, designing the immersive experience, and overseeing video and audio production.
Design Process and Decisions
Beyond video production, I designed custom 3D widgets integrated into the 360 environment using motion graphics tools. These elements visualized vehicle data and driver information without breaking immersion. Particular attention was paid to viewpoint selection, audio spatialization and user comfort.
